1. Successfully represented a leading International Construction Company in arbitration proceedings before the Centre for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (CADER) against a leading public university in Uganda, and secured an award of 50 Billion Uganda shillings in favour of our Client.
2. Advised and trained infrastructure companies, including one of the development license holders, and civil society organizations on Oil and Gas regulatory and fiscal regime and national content compliance.
3. Successfully represented the Client in Arbitration proceedings against a leading power distributor in Uganda, in a dispute relating to construction of powerlines under the UNCITRAL Model Law.
4. Processed and acquired Energy Licence for an Off Grid Captive Solar Power system of 1.5 megawatt peak (MWp) and thereby assisting commencement of Power Purchase Agreement between the client and Cross Boundary Energy International.
5. Advised and trained energy and infrastructure companies, including one of the development license holders, and civil society organizations on Oil and Gas regulatory and fiscal regime and national content compliance.
6. Retained as the Legal Adviser to a firm contracted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD) to design the master plan for the oil and gas Industrial Park in Kabaale, Hoima, Uganda.
7. Promoting into incorporation and licensing of Uganda Bentonite Limited being the sole mining and processor of Bentonite a mineral mainly used in oil drilling, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics production.
