Ibrahim ABAYO is a Partner at Meritas Advocates where he heads Tax Law and Advisory for the firm. He is Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all surbodinate Courts thereto, as well as a Chartered Certified Accountant.
He has held various tax administration and tax advisory roles in government, private sector, financial services sector, and nongovernmental organizations. Ibrahim is well versed with both international and domestic tax laws of Uganda and his expertise includes providing advisory on tax administration, tax planning, tax dispute resolution including tax and commercial litigation.
